Mrs. Faina Kirshenbaum, Israel Knesset Member visits Ukraine— 30.06.2010

In June 2010, Mrs. Faina Kirshenbaum made an official visit to Ukraine.

Mrs. Faina Krishenbaum is the Secretary General of the Israel Beytenu Party (IBP is third largest party in Knesset).

Party Chairman is Mr. Avigdor Lieberman, Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel. Mrs. Faina Kirshenbaum is second person in the Party after Mr. Lieberman.

In Kyiv, during the 2 - day visit of Mrs. Faina Kirshenbaum, a series of high-level meetings was performed: with Minister of Cultural Affairs of Ukraine, with leaders of religious confessions of Ukraine. Purpose of visit is development of interreligious relations with different religious communities of Ukraine.

In the office of HLB Ukraine Mrs. Faina Kirshenbaum met with the journalist of KyivPost newspaper. During the interview, the topical issues on interreligious relations themes, development of relations between Ukraine and Israel in various fields, and implementation of visa-free regime between Ukraine and Israel were discussed.
