News from HLB International: French Innovation in Logistics

For many years, companies have been confronted with the political and economic need to reduce the environmental impact of their supply chains.

The new task of «green logistics» is to improve the possibilities of interaction between logistics, the environment and natural resources.

It is possible to optimize various events:

– logistics structure and planning;

– traffic routes;

– corporate network of companies associated with logistics services;

– providing comprehensive and extensive IT support.

As an example, we can recall a new project called Paris Air2 Logistics, which is currently being built in the heart of the river port of Gennevilliers near the outskirts of Paris. This future base for delivering goods to the capital of France with electric vehicles will be able to boast the latest achievements in the construction of environmental facilities.

Moreover, in response to Paris’s call for the development of an urban environmental logistics project, 22 projects will soon begin, the initial goal of which is to optimize space with a view to reducing environmental damage.
